Packed Plans writes practical guides for trips people are actually taking. Every guide answers the two questions that decide a trip: what it costs, and when to go.
How we price a trip
Nightly hotel rates are sampled across the places a guide covers and averaged by month, then printed against that year’s annual average — so a cheap month reads as a number with its baseline stated, not as a claim. Flights are shown the same way, as a signed percentage against the average fare. Budget tiers are per person per day, excluding flights, and a trip total is only ever that day rate multiplied by the length of the trip.
Prices move. Each guide carries the date it was last checked, and the peak-month warnings carry the same weight as the booking buttons.
How we make money
Some links are affiliate links: if you book through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend or what a price says. The full disclosure is on its own page and above the first affiliate link of every guide.
